MECHANIC FALLS — Charles A. Berry, 72, of Mechanic Falls, died Tuesday, April 8, at his home.

He was born in Brunswick, March 8, 1942, the son of Elmer and Winona Dodge Berry. He held a bachelors degree in education. He taught 7th and 8th grade at Auburn Middle School. Charlie was a member of the retired teachers association.

Survivors include a half brother, Richard Berry of North Carolina; and friends, Allen Harvie, Rick Lange and Joy Dunham.
