Claude was a true outdoors man, a fly fisherman and hunter for many years. He enjoyed his fishing trips with his family and close friends, always boasting about how much bigger his fish was and how many he caught. He enjoyed his fall hunting trips up north at the cabin in Boulder Spring in Atkinson.

Claude also had an ear for music and taught himself how to play the guitar, keyboard and harmonica. For many years he cycled and participated in many races with his family cheering him on. Claude enjoyed working with wood and building furniture with his son. He also enjoyed his vegetable garden every summer with an abundance of tomatoes. Claude also enjoyed golfing with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling with his wife over the years and with his family. Over the past 5 years he enjoyed his occasional trips to Foxwoods to play his hand at blackjack with his son-in-law. Claude had many accomplishments, but to him his greatest accomplishment was being a father.

Claude is survived by his two children, Craig Beaucage and wife, Jill, of Poland, Caroline (Beaucage) Croteau and husband, Brian, of Poland; four grandchildren, Garrett and Breah Beaucage, Shelby Carter and Brendon Croteau; a sister, Nancy Ouellette and husband, Paul, of Lewiston; his mother, Pauline Beaucage of Lewiston; many brothers- and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews; and his dog, Leroy.

Claude was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Beaucage, of 46 years; his father, Emile Beaucage; and two brothers, Marc and Laurent Beaucage.

The family would like to thank the staff at Central Maine Medical Center and Marshwood Rehabilitation Center for his care and support.
