LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard J. D. White, Sr. was celebrated on Monday morning at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston, officiated by the Rev. Marc Caron, following morning prayers at the Fortin Group funeral home in Lewiston. The first reading was read by Benjamin Bourgoin. The Prayer of the Faithful was done by Marcel Drouin and the presentation of the gifts was done by Danielle Roy, Kelley Bourgoin and Julie Morneault. Bearers were Michael White, Joey White, Shawn Hartford, Ian Roy, Joey Morneault and Patrick Roy. A committal service with military honors was held at St. Peters Cemetery in Lewiston, with Mr. White’s grandson, Ian Roy, presenting the United States flag to his grandmother, Laureanne.
