NEW SHARON — Two people are charged with possessing heroin following a suspected drug overdose at a home on Farmington Falls Road last week, Sgt. Mathew Casavant of the Maine State Police said in a release.

Maine State Police Trooper Keith Barton met with Daniel Villacci, 27, of New Sharon and charged him Saturday with one felony count each of furnishing heroin and possession of heroin, Casavant said.

Barton charged Tabatha Schoubroek, 29, of New Sharon on Monday with a felony count of possession of heroin, he said.

Villacci and Schoubroek live at 545 Farmington Falls Road in New Sharon.

A child at that home called a family member about 5:15 p.m. on April 8 to report two unresponsive adults. One adult was taken by ambulance to a Farmington hospital, was treated and released.

Villacci and Schoubroek are scheduled to appear June 24 in a Farmington court, Casavant said.

The investigation is continuing, he said.
