Lobster stew luncheon April 25
FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a lobster stew luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 25. Note the date change.
The luncheon includes lobster stew, biscuit, pumpkin or apple dessert and cream, and coffee/tea beverages. Eat it in the church or take it away for later. The donation for the luncheon is $10.

Chesterville Hill Cemetery
FARMINGTON — The Chesterville Hill Cemetery Association’s annual meeting will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Union Baptist Church.
Homemakers’ Easter bake sale
WILTON — The Wilton Day Homemakers will have an Easter bake sale on Saturday, April 19, at the Methodist Church on Main Street. It will run from 9 a.m. until sold out.

Ecumenical Easter sunrise service
FARMINGTON — The Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministry will hold their Easter sunrise service at approximately 5:47 a.m. Sunday, April 20, on Voter Hill.
Take a left approximately one mile past the former WKTJ radio station. Dress warmly and wear boots. The service will be held regardless of the weather.
Following the service, all are invited indoors for muffins and beverages at the home of Fred and Denise Brittain.
Tri Town Seniors met, plan auction
JAY — The Tri Town Seniors of Jay met April 7 at St. Rose Parish Hall with 21 members present. George Doiron sang “Singing in the Rain” and “April Showers” along with the group. Francis Therrien was the birthday person of the month.
Final plans were made for the Easter meal served April 14 at the Parish Hall. The 50/50 was won by Gail Laverdiere and 11 door prizes were awarded. A birthday cake made by Nancy Couture was served following the meeting with ice cream brought by George Doiron.
On April 21 the group will hold their monthly Chinese auction. Games and cards were enjoyed following the refreshments.
Grange community service awards
JAY — North Jay Grange will hold its Community Service Award Night at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22. It will be upstairs; chairlift available.
There will be a speaker, with refreshments following.

Canton Parks, Trails clean-up
CANTON — Canton Parks and Trails clean up day is Saturday, April 26. The rain date will be May 3.
Participants will meet at the Canton Heritage Park at 9 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help. For more information call Thomas Adley, 597-2168.
Grange plans rummage, food sale
DIXFIELD — Mystic Valley Grange No. 313 will have a rummage and food sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
