RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Josephine M. “Jo” Gaccetta was celebrated Monday morning, April 14, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as the celebrant.
The altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and the organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Hosea,” “Song of Farewell,” “The Lord’s Prayer” and “How Great Thou Art.” Readings from the Old and New Testaments were presented by Davis Blouin. Prayers of the Faithful were read by the Rev. Greg Dube.
Interment will be held later in the spring at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Bearers were Arthur Meader, David Blouin, Al Hanington, Harold MacDonnell and James Wohlrab Jr. A reception followed at Sam’s Pizza in Rumford. Arrangements were under the care of Meader & Son Funeral Home in Rumford.
