In a 30+ year tradition, bells will ring out at Sunday’s Easter Service at the West Parish Congregational Church in Bethel. The bell choir was established in 1985 under the late Mary Valentine. Since then people of all ages have played in both adult and youth choirs. Last week the current choir, under the direction of Patricia Boyle-Wight, practiced a medley of Easter hymns in preparation for Sunday. Visible in the foreground here are, from front: Sharon Lyon, Jan Whitworth, Amy Davis and Jean Bass.
