Spring Celebration April 19 in Auburn

AUBURN — The second annual Spring Celebration will be held Saturday, April 19, at the Hasty Community Center Gym.

Sponsored by the Auburn Recreation Department, the Boys and Girls Club and the United New Auburn Association, the spring event for age 10 and under begins at 10:30 a.m. with games, prizes and visits with a giant bunny.

At 1 p.m. there will be a spring egg hunt at the Walton field walking track, again for age 10 and under. There will be prizes, photo ops with the giant bunny, a flea market table and lots of fun.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Rummage sale at Calvary United

LEWISTON — A spring rummage sale will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 25, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 59 Sabattus St.

The sale is hosted by the church’s Women’s Association.
