Promising newcomers: Junior — Samantha Higley; Freshmen — Emily Laubauskas, Abbey Mazza.
Season outlook: The Falcons return much of last year’s team and make the move to Class C after reaching the tourney in Western B. Mountain Valley has seasoned players in the battery, around the infield and in the outfield. That much experience could make the Falcons a formidable team in the MVC and in the Western C playoff field.
