LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Ronald C. Dufour were celebrated on Monday, April 14, at South Lewiston Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Church officiating.

A candle reading ceremony was held with Ron Paradis, Pat Murphy and Greg Paradis, before Ron’s four grandchildren, Rylee, Bryce, Karrington and Brendon, each lit a candle in honor of their grandfather. A scripture reading from Psalm 71:1-5 was delivered by Gerald Nicholas. Words of remembrance were shared by Ron’s two children, Jamie Dufour and Laurie Dufour-Murphy, followed by a video with the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Bearers were his brothers, Victor Dufour, Denis Dufour and Michael Dufour; his brothers-in-laws, Mike Lemay and Randy Paradis; and his good friends, Butch Boucher and Danny Ouellette. All in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.
