Promising newcomers: Juniors — Patti Ryan 2b, Megan Duval 2B; Sophomores — Grace Ryan 3B/C, Kaylee LeClerc 2b/OF, Emily Hogan 1B, Amber Delaney P/1B, Mikala Holt 3B/P, Avery Goding OF; Freshman — Alexis Bessey P/SS.
Season outlook: The Phoenix have just three players that saw regular varsity time last spring. Spruce Mountain will be young with a number of players stepping into larger roles. Kane, who was an assistant at Mt. Blue last year and had previously coached softball at Dirigo, hopes to focus on the fundamentals and helping this squad develop.
