1962 – 2014
LEWISTON — Timothy James Marsters, 51, a resident of Canton, peacefully joined the Lord after a short illness on Monday, April 14, surrounded by his loved ones.
Timothy was born in Lewiston on July 26, 1962, to Arthur L. Marsters and Beverly J. (Babb) Marsters. Timothy lived all his childhood in the small town of Canton. He attended Canton Elementary and Dixfield High School.
As a young man, he traveled and worked as a horse trainer in New Jersey and New York, and up and down the East Coast. Timothy moved back home to Canton mid-life. He worked in the industrial field as a millwright and welder. He also enjoyed mechanic work in his free time.
He leaves behind his longtime love, Judy L. Dunham (Bourget). Though he had no children of his own, he truly loved his stepchildren, Logan and Lacey Dunham, both of Maine. He also had a special place in his heart for a young boy, Brayden Knox, of Dixfield; they enjoyed coloring, wrestling and teasing each other. Timothy is survived by his mother, Beverly J. Marsters, of Canton; four brothers, Doug, Ronnie, Scott and Kevin Marsters; three sisters, Kelly, Terry and Barbie; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends all across the U.S.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur L. Marsters; his beloved sister, Julie A. Marsters; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his dog, Dozer; and many great friends.
Timothy spent many hours laughing, teaching, helping and spending quality time with those he loved. Timmy, as he was called, will be sincerely missed by many.
The family would like to thank Central Maine Medical Center ICU, doctors, nurses and staff for all their graciousness.
Messages of condolence may be sent to Judy L. Dunham, P.O. Box 592, Canton, ME 04221.
