AUBURN — City Council meeting and workshop, rescheduled from Monday because of the Patriot’s Day holiday. Workshop meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and topics include Foss Street and the proposed 2014-15 budget. Regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. and topics include spending $150,000 to build the Spring Street Transportation Center.
LEWISTON — City Council budget workshop, 6 p.m., Lewiston City Hall Council Chambers, 27 Pine St. Topics include a review of municipal revenue, Great Falls TV and general budget discussion. The meeting is scheduled to be followed by an executive session.
WEDNESDAY
AUBURN — Budget conversation with Auburn city manager, 1 to 3 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., Auburn Hall Council Chambers. The council is considering $1.7 million in cuts to the city manager’s proposed budget. Input from residents wanted.

LEWISTON — “Pages and Pints” book talk and beer tasting series with author and blogger Ben Keene, 6 p.m., Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall. Keen will talk about his book, “The Great Northeast Brewery Tour.” Free and open to the public. Talk followed by tour of Baxter Brewing Co., and reception and beer tasting.
