AUBURN — Cynthia Ann Provost, 80, of 85 Caron Lane, Auburn, died Sunday, April 20, at the Odd Fellows’ Home, where she resided for the past two and a half years.

Born in Lewiston on March 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Frederick Oscar and Etheldreda Matthews Whitmore, she graduated from Edward Little High School in the Class of 1951.

Peter Whitmore and wife, Constance, of Naples, Fla., and Monmouth; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Susan Provost of Poland Spring, Ronald Provost of Woodside, Del., and Constance Jones of Spring Hill, Fla; and several nieces and nephews.
