GREENE — Geraldine Katherine Lachapelle, 66, of Greene died Thursday, April 24, at her home.
Born in Lewiston on January 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Earle and Jacqueline McNally Osborne. She attended Edward Little High School and Mr. Richard’s Styling School. She worked as a hair dresser for 32 years, 18 of which she spent as a senior stylist at J.C Penny salon of Auburn prior to her retirement. She enjoyed her job and her many clients.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren, family and her dog, Winter. She enjoyed camping, seeing plays, shopping and laughing with her daughters. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. She was caring, loving, generous person who will be missed tremendously.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Louis R. Lachapelle of Greene; her daughters, Rickie Philbrook and husband, John Gravel, of Turner, Tracey Weston and husband, Andrew, of Greene; her grandchildren, Joshua Philbrook, Ethan and Emma Weston; her siblings Sandra Ethridge, Donna Pare, Brenda Hammond, Margie Daniels, Christina Osborne, Wanda Bond, Steve Bond and Joe-Pete Osborne as well as their spouses and many loved ones; her in-laws, Rita and Gil Begin; their children, John and Joy Begin, Randy and Rhonda Edwards, and Toby and Betty Frasier; and Lionel Lachapelle and his daughters Lisa and Laurie.
She was predeceased by a sister, Tinkie Corriveau.
