BRUNSWICK — Police are investigating a report of gross sexual assault at a Brunswick apartment that was made at 6 a.m. Friday, according to Officer John Roma of the Brunswick Police Department.

No arrest has been made, he said Saturday, and the investigation is ongoing, which means he can share few details about the alleged assault. The assault reportedly took place at an apartment on Dunlap Street, according to the police department’s activity log.

“I don’t believe the public is in any danger,” Roma said.
