1944 – 2014
AUBURN – Roger G. Thibodeau, 69, formerly of Rumford, died Friday, April 25, at his residence at Clover Manor, Auburn.
He was born in Rumford on May 26, 1944, a son of Aurelle and Rita (Giasson) Thibodeau, had attended Rumford Schools, and received his GED while in the US Army.
He worked as a loan officer for mortgages for a bank in Pennsylvania and returned to Rumford to work at the Career Center for several years until retirement.
Roger was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius and St. John Church, and he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include sisters, Ann Poulin and husband, Ron, of Topsham and Theresa Hershberger and husband, Scott, of Newville, Pa.; brothers, Joseph Thibodeau and wife, Kathy, of Vernon, Conn., and Raymond Thibodeau and wife Linda of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
