1949 – 2014

LEWISTON — Bertrand A. Dubois, 64, of Lewiston, passed away suddenly Monday night, April 28, at his home following a short illness.

He was born in Lewiston on June 18, 1949, a son of the late Walter and Pauline (Lavoie) Dubois. He grew up in the Lewiston area and attended locals schools. He was a student at Lewiston High School.

On Oct. 10, 1970, Bert married Louise Bernier and they started a family together. During that time, Bert worked for Enterprise Foundry for several years, after which he worked at Bath Iron Works as a computer cutter for 10 years.

He was a longtime member of the Webber Club in Lewiston and he enjoyed playing cribbage. Bert also enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, woodworking, taking walks with his dogs and spending quality time with his family.

Bert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Louise Dubois, of Lewiston; his two children, Donna Perry and her husband, Wilbur, of Richmond and Jamie Dubois and his wife, Tina, of Lewiston; his sister, Diane Bailey and her husband, Bruce; his brothers, Roger Dubois and his wife, Pauline, and Robert Dubois and his wife, Carmen, all of Lewiston; as well his grandchildren, Douglas LeBlanc Jr., Katlyn and Joshua Swan and Courtney, Jacob and Annarose Dubois; and many nieces and nephews.
