HARRISON — Singer/Songwriter Carlos Angeles, formerly of San Diego, now residing in Harrison, played guitar and sang during the opening social hour at the Harrison Parks and Recreation’s annual Senior Adult March Madness.

Angeles writes his own music as well as singing current tunes. He has released numerous CDs.

While Angeles performed, the volunteer crew members, under the direction of Doug Holt, were busy in the kitchen preparing to send out the food to be served family-style.

Sixty-four seniors attended a roast turkey dinner with  hot apple crisp made and donated by Pat Sutherland, Linda Kellough Gazza and Martha Merrill.

Bingo was played after the meal, with prizes for the winners. Pearl Hemmingway won the giant Easter Basket.

Volunteers helping were Doug Holt, Ron Smith, Shelley Smith, April Frank, Stacy Freeman, Angeles, Kelly Howard, Barry Richardson and Lynn Guerin and Ray Laplante.
