MECHANIC FALLS — An article about the municipal budget that ran on Page B2 of Thursday’s City edition should have said that the Budget Committee’s recommendations would increase taxes on a house assessed at $100,000 by about $42. Town Manager John Hawley incorrectly calculated the sum of the committee’s proposed cuts.
