LEWISTON — The LA Veterans Council invites anyone who would like to have the name of a loved one or friend who served in the military to be inscribed on the next monument, which will be number 26, to contact the Council. There are now over 5,300 names inscribed on memorial stones standing in Veterans Park in Lewiston.

Any man or woman who has served honorably in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserves or Merchant Marine is eligible to have their  name inscribed. The only prerequisite is that they have either a DD214, honorable discharge or proof of service.
