LEWISTON — A special celebration will take place following the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, May 4, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 59 Sabattus St.

The church is now a reconciling church, welcoming all people to seek, serve and celebrate God together.

While this has always been the goal at Calvary, the reconciling title officially lets everyone know that the congregation welcomes all and not just some.

The church is handicap accessible via the Bartlett Street door with an elevator to the sanctuary floor.

Newcomers are always made to feel at home.

There is a Bible study for adults at 9 a.m., Faith Village for children at 9:30 a.m. and fellowship time following the service.

All are welcome.
