of Lewiston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 7 in Florida.

A surprise celebration party included the following who traveled to Florida to surprise them: their son, David Pelletier and his family, Sharon Patterson and Heather Pollack from Louisville, Ky., Pat Stone (bridesmaid) from Syracuse, N.Y., and Diana Ashton of Albany, N.Y., Larry and Sandy Langett from Utica, N.Y., and their son, John Langett of Merritt Island, Fla., Bob and Sandy Oliver of Lewiston, who traveled with them, and Janice and Brian Harris of Winthrop, who were vacationing in Florida.

Their celebration started at Macaroni Grill Restaurant in Kissimmee, Fla., and proceeded to the home of Brian and Janice Harris at Star Island Resort, for a gathering with cards, gifts and an anniversary cake with their original wedding picture made with frosting. A poster was presented from Pat Stone with various pictures from the past 50 years. The couple received cards and notes from family and friends who could not attend.

The surprise party was panned by Bob and Sandy Oliver, Pat Stone and Janice and Brian Harris.
