WILTON — The Board of Selectmen will review a final version of the proposed animal control ordinance when they meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at the Town Office.

The board plans to listen to any public comments on the ordinance before deciding to add it to the warrant for the June town meeting.

Following a public hearing held in April on the ordinance, the town’s attorney reviewed it.

The board will consider approving the final warrant for town meeting.

In other business, the board will discuss setting a mandatory recycling provision per section 7 of the town’s recycling ordinance.

The ordinance was approved by voters at the 2013 town meeting.

In the section dealing with separation, selectmen determined the wastes to be recycled and how the wastes and recyclables shall be prepared for deposit at the facility.

The board’s decisions are based on Advisory Committee and town management recommendations.
