BANGOR — Testimony in a Maine triple murder case is focusing on the guns prosecutors allege were used to kill three people later burned in a car fire.

Witness Andy Morin-Smith testified Thursday that he sold a gun to defendant Nicholas Sexton, one of two men accused. A detective also testified about evidence collected at the scene.

Sexton, of Warwick, Rhode Island, and Randall Daluz of Brockton, Massachusetts, are each charged with three counts of murder and one count of arson.

The victims were 24-year-old Nicolle Lugdon of Eddington, 26-year-old Daniel Borders of Hermon, and 28-year-old Lucas Tuscano of Bradford.

The trial began May 1 and is expected to last three to four weeks.
