1936 – 2014
AUBURN — Edith “Dolly” Jordan, of New Gloucester, died Wednesday, May 7, with her family by her side.
Dolly was born in New Gloucester on March 15, 1936, to Oren and Edith Walker Ray, and graduated from New Gloucester High School. She married Bela Jordan Sr. on Dec. 10, 1955. Dolly worked for Central Maine Medical Center for several years.
She enjoyed her family and traveling along, visiting friends.
Dolly is survived by her four children, Debra White and husband, Sherwood, of New Gloucester, Kathy Pierce and husband, Edward, of New Gloucester, Dean Jordan and wife, Natalie, of Poland and Rick Jordan of Windham; her brother, Donald Ray and wife, Mary, of New Gloucester; grandchildren, Shona Gonsalves and husband, Philip, Chasity White, James Jordan and wife, Marissa, Ashley Jordan and Joshua Coey; and four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Ava and Dehrrich.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bela; son, Eddie; four brothers; and three sisters.
