- Jake Riley and his wife, Katherine Ryan, of Portland cast for trout on the Nezinscot River in Turner on Sunday. Riley, a Bates College graduate, said they will float down river for a few miles and then he will run back along the road to get the car. Riley and Ryan are expecting their first baby in August, so Ryan called the day a pre-Mother’s Day outing.
