LIVERMORE — Bid packets on three properties the town acquired for unpaid taxes from 2012 will be available Monday, May 12, at the Town Office.

The Board of Selectpersons made the decision to put the foreclosed properties out for bid May 5, town Administrative Assistant Renda Guild said Wednesday.

The town foreclosed on five properties in March, but under town rules, owners have 30 additional days to pay back taxes and associated fees.

Two properties were redeemed by owners by the April 4 deadline.

The land parcels going out to bid are on Federal Road/Route 4, Turkey Lane and Bean Street.

On the Federal Road land, the town was owed $646.91 that included taxes, fees and interest, former Administrative Assistant Kurt Schaub said in March. The initial tax bill in 2012 was $249.10.

A 3½-acre parcel on Turkey Lane is also available. The initial tax bill was $80.48, but to redeem it, owners would have had to pay $726.62 by April 4.

There is also a land parcel off Bean Street going out bid. The 2012 tax bill was for $473.75. If the owner had redeemed it by the deadline, the amount due was $1,291.88.
