FARMINGTON — RSU 9 Superintendent Tom Ward announced Tuesday that Mt. Blue High School Principal Monique Poulin of Kingfield submitted her resignation, effective June 30.
She has been named principal of Skowhegan High School.
Poulin has been with the district for 15 years, serving at the Mt. Blue middle and high schools. She has also served through the three-year construction/renovation project at the high school campus.
Ward and the board commended her on her accomplishments and gave her a standing ovation.
Poulin said she is excited for her new position but will miss Mt. Blue students and staff.
