HARTFORD — Selectmen on Thursday night signed the warrant for the annual town meeting and scheduled a hearing on it for 6 p.m. June 5 at the Town Hall.

The annual town meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Town Hall.

Arthur Harvey reported on a Planning Board hearing on the state’s amended shoreland zoning law. To be accepted, 252 of the 336 municipalities must approve.

Resident Morrill Nason said he favored using the state regulations because they could be enforced.
