PARIS — Artists and fine crafters are invited to apply to the 2014 Moore Park Art Show to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 27.
Artists have an opportunity to win a $300 award sponsored by Chandler Funeral Homes as well as three $100 ribbons for best of show in painting, photography and artisan crafts.
Live entertainment will be featured in the gazebo all day, including Terry Swett, Just Us Two and Paul and Ellen. There will also food served by local vendors.
Artists who work in paintings, drawings, photography, wood, metal and glass sculpture, fine jewelry, handmade prints, fiber and textile/fiber arts are invited to apply. All work must be of original design and creation of the exhibitor.
Booths are limited. Artists also have an opportunity to submit work for awards judging. There will also be a limited number of craft booths under a tent for more traditional crafts.
The 10 x 10 foot booths are $65 for a single exhibitor. Shared booths are $40 for each artist, up to four in a booth. Student booth fees are $40 a booth or $25 each for a shared booth.
Applications must be received by July 1 for inclusion in the Moore Park Art Program. Community groups are welcome to participate for $30. Food vendor spots are $75. Food vendors must provide proof of insurance with application.
