I cannot believe that highway officials want to raise the speed limit on the interstate highway. Whenever I get on the Turnpike, I set my cruise control between 65 mph and 70 mph. On the 30-mile trip to Portland, probably 95 percent of other vehicles pass me, travelling much faster than my car.
Why bother raising the speed limit?
