1937 – 2014

LEWISTON — Albert D. Lanois, 76, a resident of Marshwood Center in Lewiston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 25, 1937, a son of the late Wilbrod and Eva (Levasseur) Lanois. He married Lorraine Gagnon in 1967, and again in 1980.

He worked for Knapp Shoe for many years. He volunteered for his church as a driver and a Ranger leader. Albert enjoyed his family, fishing, cooking and traveling.

He is survived by his children, Jeannine Lanois, Patrick Lanois, Lori Aspinall and Joey Lanois and his wife, Amy, all of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren; his brothers, Thomas Lanois and Roger Lanois; his sister, Claudette Pelletier; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Lorraine Lanois.
