BUCKFIELD — Leland “Skip” P. Jack, 56, of Buckfield, died Saturday, May 31, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 15, 1957, a son of Leland G. and Rosemary Smith Jack. He graduated from Central Maine Community College and had been employed as a machinist at Maine Machine in South Paris.

He was a founding member of “The Jack-Shack-Mac Hunting Club.” He was an avid outdoorsman and houndsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and going upta camp. He played in the local softball league; he coached Babe Ruth for many years, after being coached by his dad when he was younger. He loved to ride his motorcycle and he loved his grandchildren very much. He was a member of Vineyard Church in Mechanic Falls.

He is survived by his parents; his children, Jason and Alta Jack and Kristen and Tobey Smith; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jade, Collin, Bryanna, Isabell and Brady; his brothers and sisters, Stephen and Kathy Jack, Kelly and Robert Richard, Blaine and Kelley Jack and Bradley Austin; many cousins, nieces and nephews; his fiancée, Louise Long; and her children, Melissa Donnell, Cory Freeland, Bryan Desgroseilliers and Jarod Deanis.
