LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating who is responsible for knocking down a political sign with a vehicle Tuesday.
A large sign put up by selectman candidate Ron Chadwick on the side of Route 133/Park Street, across from Diamond Road, was struck by a vehicle with wide tires, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Tuesday. The incident was reported at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Police officer Dan Chabot photographed the scene and took an impression of the tire marks, Steward said.
Damaging a political sign is considered misdemeanor criminal mischief, he said.
