BRUNSWICK — Five Rivers Arts Alliance is accepting applications from local artists, arts collectives and studios to participate in the 2014 Arts Downtown and All Around Show to be held Nov. 14-16. This weekend, scheduled earlier than prior years, is intended to draw artists and art lovers for a sale before holiday craft fairs. Studios and galleries throughout the midcoast area are encouraged to open their doors to visitors and participate in the event so customers have a panoply of venues to visit.

The group show will take place in the Coleman Burke Gallery space next to Frontier at Fort Andross. Hours for the show are Friday from 5-8 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. This year’s dates and hours are designed to encourage people who are in Brunswick for the farmers market or early bird shopping to visit the art show as well. There will be live music scheduled for all three days, and a cash bar scheduled for Friday evening.

Two different sized booths are available. The smaller of the two is for singles only for $100. The larger booth, for $125, can be shared between two artists or can be used by a group with rotating artists.
