If people support and vote for Andy Dupuis and Dr. Albert Aniel, they also support closing the library, cutting police coverage and recreation for the town; that is their motive. Neither candidate believes in keeping a safe reserve account for unexpected expenses for capital equipment purchases and road maintenance and reconstruction.
At the first budget meeting, Aniel did not get his way with the budget process, so he walked out and quit the Budget Committee. That being said, if he gets elected as selectman and does not get his way, would he walk out and quit as selectman, too?
Is that the type of leadership residents want to run the town as selectman?
On voting day, I ask residents to think twice and vote once.
