ANDOVER — Alice E. Dixon, 73, died Sunday, June 8, at her residence on Horseshoe Pond Road in Andover.

She was born in Lowell, Mass., on June 29, 1940, the daughter of William and Hazel (Hardy) Mosher. She graduated from Andover High School and attended Essex Aggie School in Hathorne, Mass.

She was a member of the Robert Shand Post No. 1248, VFW Auxiliary and the Andover Fire Department. Alice was married in Tewksbury, Mass., on Jan. 6, 1962, to Kenneth Dixon, whom survives, of Andover.

Other survivors include sons, Robert Dixon and wife, Jennifer, of Andover and Michael Dixon and wife, Deborah, of Saudi Arabia; daughter, Karin Dixon, of Woodstock; brothers, William T. Mosher of Greer, S.C., Jonathan Mosher of Massachusetts and Robert Mosher of Florida; five grandchildren, Nyia and Maecy Dixon and Kaylin, Patrick and Lindsey Milligan; and one great-grandson, Oliver Milligan.

She was predeceased by a brother, James Mosher.
