DEAR SUN SPOTS: Members of the First Congregational-Christian Church of New Gloucester are preparing for a yearlong celebration of our 250th anniversary in 2015, and we need your help.

Do you have photos of weddings, graduations or other events held at the church from years past that you would be willing to share?

Please email them to history@ngucc.org along with any names, stories or other information you have.

If you cannot email your photos, please call us at 207-926-3260 to make arrangements for us to scan your photos.

We’ll be building a slide show presentation to be shown at our anniversary events. — Jennifer Chase, Jennifer.Chase@sappi.com

We received 10-plus telephone calls and more than a truckload of books, many of which we were able to keep for the library and add to the collection.

I am getting emails this morning, and I am sure the library is getting more phone calls. What a wonderful service Sun Spots offers to the community. — Nancy Petersons, nepesons@myfairpoint.net

ANSWER: You’re very generous with your thanks, considering Sun Spots overlooked your email and you had to remind her. She is very glad to hear you had good response. She hopes the sale was a big success.
