NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library invites readers to enter worlds filled with spells, magic, mythical creatures, time travel and adventure-filled journeys. Facilitators Katherine Morgan and Julia Hoisington will lead a book discussion at the library on the fantasy genre held on Thursdays this summer at 6:30 p.m.

This series is designed as an introductory look at the genre of fantasy for non-fantasy readers.

Fantastical Reads opens with a general discussion of fantasy at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 19, that will include the different variants of speculative fiction, why the genre was chosen for the summer and some history of the fantasy genre.

The books in this series are: June 26, “A Wizard of Earthsea” by Ursula K. Le Guin; July 17, “The Eyre Affair” by Jasper Fforde; and Aug. 7, “Stardust” by Neil Gaiman.
