LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Pierre H. Cotnoir were held Friday morning, June 20, at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Howard presiding.
During the service, words of remembrance were shared by Pierre’s nieces and nephews, Jeff Cotnoir, Jennifer Gleason, Michael Gleason and Mackenzie Peterson, who all spoke of their uncle as more than just an uncle, but as a trusting mentor and family advocate who would help with advice and be one to count on in times of need. Also sharing words of remembrance was Pierre’s brother, Real Cotnoir, who spoke of a loving brother who passed too soon, but is thankful to hold those memories of Pierre’s life deeply in his heart.
Following a funeral procession to Mount Auburn Cemetery, the Rev. Howard recited graveside committal prayers to conclude services. Pallbearers were Luke, Yves, Rene, Jeff and Jeremy Cotnoir, as well as Michael Gleason. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
