I have a question with regard to the possible legalization of marijuana in Lewiston. The question was asked a long time ago and seems to have been forgotten or has been overlooked.
It is a question of personal health: Does marijuana cause impotence?
True or false?
If it is true, there will be a few generations suffering not only the effects of smoking, but also a surge of sexual impotence, causing more childless couples, divorces, etc.
Please, no smoking and no smoking marijuana. There should be a close study of the effects of second-hand smoke, both cigarette and marijuana, to all children and adults who are exposed constantly, day after day, all their lives, to smoking.
Monique Theberge, Lewiston
Editor’s note: According to the American Urological Association Marijuana use can cause impotence, as can other lifestyle choices.
