LIVERMORE — Police are investigating vandalism at the town’s Recreation Field on Foundry Road, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.
Someone wrote on the park benches and some of the play equipment had obscene pictures drawn on them, he said. The slide on the children’s playground structure was cut and a rope structure was dismantled, he said.
Town officials are trying to determine the amount of damage. The vandalism was reported Sunday. Officer Steve Gould is investigating the incident.
