1944 – 2012

TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. — Charles Willard Chamberlain died at his home on Sept. 9, 2012, at the age of 68.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 17, 1944, a son of Charles P. and Dorothy F. Chamberlain.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lorraine (Badger) Chamberlain, of Twentynine Palms; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Noreen Chamberlain, Kelsie and Barbara Chamberlain, Cheryl and Dennis Bachelder, Mylinda and Arthur Frechette and Marilou and Gary Stalsworth; and an uncle, Kelsie Fish. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, (godparents) Joseph and Al Marciniak, Raymond and Jane Badger, Linda Colon, Edward and Debra Badger and Ronald and Deborah Badger, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Badger, all of Massachusetts; plus aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Catherine W. Chamberlain, who died at birth in 1973; his parents, Charles and Dorothy Chamberlain; and brothers, Brian, Robin and Dana.
