LEWISTON — Comedy Night at Guthrie’s, hosted by The Portland Comedy Co-op, returns with another great lineup of Maine’s best up-and-coming comedians.

This month’s featured comic will be Cloud Morris. The California native, now a resident of Westbrook, has been a staple of the Maine comedy scene for many years. From the Maine State Employees Union to the Raymond Fire Department, Cloud has performed for many of the finest civic institutions around. He was also the creator and host of the long-running comedy series, “The Secret Lives of Comedians,” and a member of the Portland Improv Experience. Cloud’s sly brand of comedy is influenced by his odd take on the world, which comes mostly from being a guy named Cloud.

The Co-op also welcomes special guest, Katie Ferreira, one of Portland’s newest comics who has been steadily climbing the comedy ladder. She is a regular at Mama’s Crowbar and most recently performed at The Big Easy Comedy Club in Portland.

Your host for the night will be the Comedy Co-op’s own Will Green. Fresh off a trip to his home state of Michigan and a headlining show in Detroit, Green will lead this comedy ship while sharing a few of his humorous and off-putting stories along the way.

Admission to this event is free though donations are accepted. She Doesn’t Like Guthries, a locally owned and operated, eco-friendly restaurant in downtown Lewiston that offers high quality, healthy food while supporting live music and local art, is at 115 Middle St. The show is open to all ages, though 18 and up is definitely recommended.
