1988 – 2014

LEWISTON — Mary Fritz, 26, a resident of the Empire Road, Poland, died unexpectedly in Lewiston on Wednesday, June 25.

She was born in Lincoln on June 13, 1988, the daughter of James C. Fritz and Geraldine Thompson. Mary completed her GED at Penobscot Job Corps, where she enjoyed the happiest times in her life and developed lifelong friends.

Her hobbies included photography and cooking.

Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Thompson of Poland; her two stepfathers, Stanley Henderson of Powderly, Ky., and David Merrill of Poland; three brothers, Gregory and Franklin Smart, both of Lincoln, and Angus Smart of Poland; one sister, Rebecca Henderson of Poland; as well as a special niece, Elizabeth Smart, and a special nephew, Gregory Smart, Jr.
