LEWISTON — Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services held their second art show of the school year on May 8.
The two preschool classrooms and two pre-K classrooms held their very first art show this past November and it was such a success that a year before the next event seemed too far away and a spring art show was planned.
Art projects for this show included a collaborative classroom mural that students created using different painting tools such as mops, sponges and brushes; paper mache bird nests; flowers made from recycled materials; handprint sunflowers; self-portraits and family portraits; oil pastel and watercolor works; sand and glue art; and many more. Each student also had a “Meet the Artist” page displayed with a picture of them and some fun facts about them for all to see.
