BRUNSWICK — During Bowdoin College’s 209th commencement ceremony held May 24, bachelor of arts degrees were awarded to students from 37 states, the District of Columbia and 15 countries and territories. The following students are from the area.

Evelyn Sarah Dickinson of Bowdoin graduated with a major in biology and French.

Riley McFarlan Eusden of South Paris graduated with a major in earth and oceanographic science and a minor in English.

Katherine Elizabeth Harmon of Auburn graduated cum laude with a major in neuroscience and a minor in economics.

Emma Wells James of Avon graduated with a major in anthropology and a minor in education studies.

Kelsey Meegan Linnell of Sabattus graduated with a major in anthropology and mathematics.

Emily Rose Powers of Auburn graduated with a major in English.

Kirsten Lindsey Prue of Auburn graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology.

Viola Luolan Rothschild of Phillips graduated cum laude with a major in Asian studies and government and legal studies.
