WEST FARMINGTON — Lawrence F. Jackson, 81, of West Farmington died Monday, June 30, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Farmington.

He was born April 19, 1933, in Carrabassett, son of Stilman and Velma Jackson. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry and working in the woods.

He was well known by his family and friends for his beautiful vegetable garden, from which they all benefited. He especially enjoyed telling others about the wonderful hope for the future found in God’s word, the Bible.

Larry was a man who loved life, his family and Jehovah God. He endeavored to instill this love of God into his children. He was well known as a hard-working and generous man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; their children, Suzanne Achorn and her husband, Paul, and their three children and one grandson, Teresa Jackson, Jeffery and his wife, Wanda, his son and five grandchildren, Steven and his wife, Andrea, their two children, James and his wife, Shelly, their two daughters, and four grandchildren, Cynthia Danforth and her husband, John.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother and half-sister.
