Lady Golfers tournament benfitting the Bennett Breast Care Center

LIVERMORE — The Lady Golfers at Maple Lane Golf Course will be holding their second annual tournament on Tuesday, July 15 to support patients at the Bennett Breast Care Center at Central Maine Medical center.

The tournament will consist of four-lady teams playing in a scramble format for 18 holes. The price of $50 will cover green fees, prizes, and lunch, with an additional $10 to rent a cart. There will be prizes for first, second, and third places, for closest-to-the-pin, and for longest drive.

In additional to the tournament, there are raffle tickets for a quilt made by Sue St. Pierre on sale by members. There will also be items donated by area businesses for a silent auction open to the public for bidding.

Ladies wishing for a day of fun playing while helping this worthy cause should register their team by calling Rick at Maple Lane at 897-3770. Individuals may sign up to be placed on a team if there are slots available.
